My name is Mary, and I have been involved in catering all of my professional life. As my children are growing I now have more time to devote to the design and creation of fabulous cakes.
Having completed a Cordon Bleu and Catering Diploma at Eastbourne College of Food and Fashion, otherwise known as “Rannies”, my first job was the Dessert Chef at Farnham Castle. I then moved on to Foxhills Golf and Country Club and then Ashdown Park Hotel. From there I continued to work in the catering business and finally acting as Manager at Café Rouge where I met my husband.
More recently I have been trained in Sugar Flowers and Ways with Sugar Paste at Bromley Adult Education College and have successfully completed the “Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering” from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
I have now decided to start my own business from home, and love being able to create beautiful cakes. I specialise in vanilla sponge, chocolate cakes, and rich fruit cakes. All my cakes are baked by me and fresh to order. I have been told by many people that my cakes are delicious and have a great “WOW” factor.
